Dear Members of the Nuclear Science Community:
On November 28, 2016, two openings will be announced for the positions
of Program Manager for Fundamental Symmetries and Program Manager for
Low Energy Nuclear Physics (nuclear structure and nuclear astrophysics)
respectively.
As you know, both of these subprograms lie at the core of the DOE NP
portfolio, and qualified, accomplished scientific leadership is
essential to steward the future of these exciting fields. If you enjoy
challenges and have a keen interest in helping to shape the future of
U.S. nuclear physics, please consider applying for these positions. The
processing of applications has undergone some important changes, so even
if you have applied previously, please consider submitting an
application once again.
Thank you for considering submitting an application for these very
important roles to steward the future of U.S. nuclear science.
Sincerely,
Timothy J. Hallman
Associate Director of the Office of Science for Nuclear Physics
