2017 NuSTEC School in Neutrino Nucleus Scattering Physics
to be held at Fermilab 7 - 15 November 2017.
The Neutrino Scattering Theory Experiment Collaboration (NuSTEC) will
organize the 2017 NuSTEC School in Neutrino Nucleus Scattering Physics
to be held at Fermilab 7 - 15 November 2017.
The primary goal of this NuSTEC School will be to provide a focused
introduction to both the nuclear and particle physics of neutrino
nucleus scattering. The School will be 9 days long including a free day
at the halfway point and is based on immersion with close
participant-lecturer contact. A school day will consist of four 1-hour
lectures and a 1.5 hour long recitation session encouraging
questions/discussions on all of the day’s lectures. Although this
training is ideally suited for experimental and theoretical advanced
graduate students and young postdocs, many more-senior researchers may
find these lectures informative and are welcome to participate.
For further information, including a list of planned lectures and
instructors, please refer to the School Program website:
http://nustec.fnal.gov/school2017/
The registration fee as well as opportunities for financial support will be presented in the
announcement opening up application for the school that will follow shortly.
Sincerely,
The NuSTEC Training Program Organizers.
