PS.: Some Fun Facts
- The NSTAR2017 will be hosted at the University of South Carolina. USC
is located in the center of Columbia next to the State House. Columbia
is known for its southern hospitality and family friendliness and has
lots of things to do and explore. http://www.sc.edu/visit/index.php
<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.sc.edu_visit_index.php&d=DwMFaQ&c=lz9TcOasaINaaC3U7FbMev2lsutwpI4--09aP8Lu18s&r=Rqsuco_YGup4VXZxaxcYOw&m=9Y8nu1rpHGTYWojHKa_xO2_ZmkAcRClWw22guKV5m4M&s=h3cb8pBXI-ZQcMJlgRnhs97HETh_zkEStnwaE2ByWmk&e=>
- The center of the total solar eclipse on August the 21st passes
directly through Columbia. Roof-top viewing will be part of the program.
It is famously hot and typically sunny during that time of the day and
year, but we can only promise that you won't see the sun for two and a
half minutes. https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/eclipse-101

and

- 130 hotel rooms have been blocked until July 19 but are currently
going fast. When these rooms are gone or after July 19 you will most
likely run out of luck, since the "Solar Eclipse" and "Move in Week"
will fill up Columbia.
