[Cuga] *There is still time to register* 2018 IEEE Real Time Conference- a message from David Abbott

Dear Colleagues,

Please note some general announcements for the2018 IEEE Real Time 
Conference below:

Final notifications to authors have gone out, and we anticipate 
publication of the full scientific program
on the website by the end of this week. Due to the delay we have also 
extended the the early conference registration
deadline until *April 20*.

Also note that the conference hotel registration deadline is fixed at 
*May 4*. Available rooms at the conference hotel
after this date cannot be guaranteed.


There is still space available for both pre-conference programs on 
Saturday and Sunday (June 9-10). Users can
  sign up for both courses. Student IEEE members may also be eligible 
for tuition assistance through an NPSS Grant.

   Saturday June 9 - MTCA  Workshop
     Full day workshop and tutorial on the MTCA Standard (MTCA.4) with a 
focus on real time applications in experimental
     physics. Practical opportunities to work with the hardware will be 
available. Lunch will be included.

   Sunday June 10 - High Level Synthesis (HLS) Programming (C/C++) with 
SoC based FPGAs
     Full day introduction to HLS programming within the Xilinx Vivado 
development environment. Participants will receive
     a SoC/FPGA development board and educational license as part of the 
course. Lunch will be included.
