Dear JLab Users,

We are pleased to announce the upcoming workshop on "Next-generation GPD
studies with exclusive meson production at EIC"

The workshop is hosted by the Center for Frontiers in Nuclear Science at
Stony Brook University of New York from June 04 to 06, 2018.

This is intended to be a focused topical workshop with the following
objectives:

a) Review of recent advances in the theory of meson production and
experimental tests of the reaction mechanism;

b) Assessment of the physics potential of exclusive meson production in
the various channels (heavy, vector, pseudoscalar) and the specific
challenges of such measurements with EIC;

c) Planning of simulation tool development and impact studies.

A large fraction of time will be allocated for free round table
discussions.
