Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to announce a one day EICUG workshop on tracking and
silicon detector development, which will be hosted by the University of
Virginia (UVa) on July 24^th 2018.
Workshop Website:https://indico.cern.ch/event/722363/
<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__indico.cern.ch_event_722363_&d=DwMFaQ&c=lz9TcOasaINaaC3U7FbMev2lsutwpI4--09aP8Lu18s&r=Rqsuco_YGup4VXZxaxcYOw&m=o9xdT3Y6DD_Q8w6yFHMq0oURb3WWBlPSrGa6D7kFuME&s=34RFNFJaF9IPpsaupXimvsv8BO2UsUT3fsa7qKV70UI&e=>
The main goal of this workshop is to discuss tracking and silicon
detector ideas which could be suitable for an EIC facility, but have not
been considered by the wider EICUG and are not officially supported by
EIC R&D funds.
A remote connection will be made available, so if you cannot make the
trip and join us at UVa we strongly recommend that you connect remotely.
The connection details will be posted on the workshop website shortly.
If you do plan on being at UVa for the workshop, we would ask you to
please register through the workshop website. There are no registration
fees, but we would like to get a head count of how many people will be
coming to the workshop in person.
We will be posting the workshop agenda, as well as travel information in
the coming weeks.
We look forward to hearing from everyone!
Sincerely,
Kondo Gnanvo, Laura Gonella, and Matt Posik
