This is the 5th edition of this program and under this fellowship we will be able to support the participation of up to two graduate students from developing countries who are well into their PhD dissertation research project to the 2019 Hampton University Graduate Summer (HUGS) program.

HUGS 2019 is a summer school designed for experimental and theoretical nuclear and particle physics graduate students who have finished their coursework and have at least one year of research experience in these fields. The school will run in June 2019. Information on past editions of the school can be found at https://www.jlab.org/hugs/

The fellowship will fully cover travel expenses (including international airfare), room, and board. An additional visit of 1 or 2 weeks to Jefferson Lab may be possible, depending on funding, to meet with the laboratory researchers and users, and to initiate or strengthen a research collaboration. This visit will be discussed with the selected candidates, and is subject to availability of funds. For more information on Jefferson Lab research program please visit www.jlab.org<http://www.jlab.org/>.
