To all Users,
This week in the weekly briefs, JLab sent the following information
regarding process changes for computer accounts:
============================================================================================
COMPUTING
Computer User Account Process Changes
In order to maintain an account at Jefferson Lab, individuals must
maintain current security awareness training and must be designated a
valid Jefferson Lab type (such as Staff, User, Contractor, etc).
Beginning on February 5 , accounts with expired or untaken Security
Awareness Training or that have invalid Jefferson Lab type designations
will be automatically disabled. Email notifications to affected accounts
will begin today .
For Users, the required training is GEN034U: Security Awareness for Users.
https://www.jlab.org/div_dept/train/gen034u/Security%20Awareness%202016%20%28Web%29/html5.html
=============================================================================================
Emails have already been sent. If you have not already done so, please
complete the training ASAP. This will ensure you do not have disruption
with your computer account. Unique cases have occurred which require
further attention. Please contact Lorelei (lorelei at jlab.org) for help.
