1st CFNS Summer School on the Physics of the Electron Ion Collider
Stony Brook University, USA, July 31st - August 9th

Dear Colleagues,

This is the first announcement of the 2019 CFNS Summer School on the
Physics of the Electron Ion Collider (EIC), to be held at Stony Brook University, USA, July 31st - August 9th 2019. The school will feature lectures and tutorials on theoretical and experimental topics related to the future EIC. The school is ideally suited for advanced graduate students and postdocs in nuclear and particle physics.

We anticipate to offer generous local support to up to 25 students, see application page for details.
Confirmed Lecturers at the 1st school are: Prof. George Sterman, Prof. Zhongbo Kang, Dr. Yoshitaka Hatta,
Prof. Zohreh Davoudi, Dr. Matt Sievert and others.

Review of applications will begin on 15 May 2019 and continue until 25 positions are filled.
