Dear Colleague,
we are pleased to announce the forthcoming programme Deciphering Strong-Interaction Phenomenology through Precision Hadron Spectroscopy to be held at MIAPP (Munich Institute for Astro and Particle Physics) from October 7th to 31st, 2019.
The programme wants to bring together experts on various aspects of hadron spectroscopy both in the light and the heavy quark sector. In particular, special sessions will be arranged for light mesons, amplitude analysis, heavy-light systems, heavy-heavy systems. While most of the program focusses on mesons, the last week will be dedicated to baryons - the last two days of the program will even be dedicated to a workshop on baryons.
The registration form and further information can be found at www.munich-iapp.de/Hadron_spectroscopy<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.munich-2Diapp.de_Hadron-5Fspectroscopy&d=DwMFaQ&c=lz9TcOasaINaaC3U7FbMev2lsutwpI4--09aP8Lu18s&r=Rqsuco_YGup4VXZxaxcYOw&m=m_qWZvc7fzdQ28Gre8tM6HC-i2k4JFdG0tJ9dYFUz9A&s=oUFOeFwPasslyTDJ-4tFfvpWgGefelbS-sAN_YMxZ_8&e=>
We are writing to encourage you to apply for participation. The registration deadline is February 15. It is MIAPP policy that short after the deadline the organizers select those to be formally invited from the list of registrants. Please note that MIAPP requires attendance for at least two weeks. MIAPP provides financial support to cover part of the local expenses for all external participants. Additional support for families and for graduate students is available, the details can be found on the MIAPP web page. We hope that you will be able to participate and are looking forward to seeing you in Munich this autumn!
Please feel free to forward this e-mail to colleagues that might be interested in the program.
Best regards,
Stephan Paul, Nora Brambilla, Simon Eidelman, Christoph Hanhart, Luciano Maiani
