Dear Colleagues,

This is the final circular for the 8th Biennial Workshop of the APS Topical
Group on Hadronic Physics (GHP2019), which will be held April 10-12, 2019 in
Denver, CO.  Registration is still open, see below for deadlines.

Scientific Program:

The program consists of plenary and specialized parallel sessions. There are a
large number of invited talks, both in the plenary and parallel sessions. We
also received a significant number of contributed talks. Plenary talks are
30 min, parallel talks are 25 min, all including discussions.

On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, starting at 6 pm, we will hold the business
meeting of the APS Topical Group on Hadronic Physics (GHP). During the business
meeting, we will congratulate the newly named APS Fellows, nominated through
GHP, as well as the Dissertation Award winner. There will also be presentations
by representatives from DOE, NSF, BNL and JLab.  We encourage everybody to
attend.

The workshop will take place at:
     Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel
     1550 Court Pl, Denver, CO 80202

Important housing information:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Participants should arrange their own accommodation, as there are no more rooms
available at the Sheraton through the APS April meeting housing page.  If you
have not already made housing arrangements, we recommend you do so as soon as
possible, there will be a city-wide convention at the same time.

Workshop dinner:
--------------------------------------------------------------
An important social event of the GHP workshop series is the workshop dinner
which will take place on:
    Thursday, April 11, 2019, starting at 7 pm,
at 1515 Restaurant, 1515 Market St., within walking distance of the venue.

The cost of the dinner is $50/person.  Payment must be made during registration.

Registration:
--------------------------------------------------------------
GHP2019 is a separate meeting from the APS Spring meeting 2019, and has a
separate registration fee. There are discounts for GHP members:
Regular: $125 ($175 for non-members)
Students: $25 ($50 for non-members)
Joining GHP will allow you to pay the member price if you are not already a
member.
