[Cuga] Power Outage This Weekend at JLab- a message from Walt Akers

There will be a power outage of CEBAF Center and the EEL Building this
weekend. The outage to CEBAF Center will be Saturday, March 23rd from
7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.  The outage to the EEL building will be from 7 AM
on Saturday, March 23rd until 7 PM on Sunday, March 24th.  The purpose
of the outage is to perform required maintenance on the electrical 
transformers that service the building.  In order to minimize future outages, Facilities
will also be inspecting and maintaining all of the switch gear and 
supporting systems at the same time.

During the outage, both buildings will be inaccessible - if you are in 
the building when power is disrupted, you should leave immediately because emergency
lighting will only be available for a short time.

Central Computing and High Performance Computing will remain online
throughout the outage and all central file and network services should 
remain available, both on and off site.
