Dear Colleagues,

Abstract submission for the 13th conference on
"Electromagnetic Interactions with Nucleons and Nuclei (EINN 2019)”
is now open. The conference will be held at Paphos/Cyprus from
Oct. 27 to Nov. 2, 2019.

The EINN conference series covers a wide range of theoretical and
experimental topics and developments in hadron physics. With the
study of QCD continuing to be a major focus of present activities
and future plans in physics research worldwide, the EINN conference
provides an outstanding international forum for the field. We expect
it to play also an important role in preparations for a US Electron Ion
Collider.

The conference consists of invited plenary sessions in the mornings,
and two parallel workshops entitled "Parton distribution functions:
Lattice meets phenomenology” and "The road to an Electron Ion Collider”
held in the afternoon. There is also a poster session.
We encourage you to visit the conference website at

http://einnconference.org/2019/<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__einnconference.org_2019_&d=DwMFaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=TI1-uR1CNrL-lIqQDSyKdw&m=U_xqz6GgrP6LYXmGh5vWRc-cosJLxXaeUbz9nqvGRu0&s=GV6KYlHlMY_qCgiopbFUN3KYDBV8kCl9wicE0SNDd2s&e=>

and to submit an abstract for one of the workshops or for the poster session.
All abstracts not selected for oral presentation at the two workshops will be
automatically considered for the poster session. There will be a prize for
the three best posters, and the winners will get the opportunity to present
their work in a plenary talk during the conference.

A particular feature of the EINN series is the strong participation
of young physicists. The 2019 conference will start with a 2-day
pre-conference on "Frontiers and Careers in Photonuclear Physics”,
organized by Afroditi Papadopoulou and Lena Heijkenskjold,
which includes pedagogical introductory talks.
Please notify your young colleagues of this exciting opportunity.

Best regards,

Werner Vogelsang (EINN2019 chair), Abhay Deshpande (vice chair),
Constantia Alexandrou, Richard Milner (workshop organizers)
