[Cuga] Call for abstracts: Division of Nuclear physics sessions at the 2021 APS April virtual meeting- a message from Fatiha Benmokhtar

Dear Jefferson Lab Community,

The APS April Meeting will take place virtually on 17-20 April 2021 [https://april.aps.org<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__april.aps.org_&d=DwMFAw&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=TI1-uR1CNrL-lIqQDSyKdw&m=lDyACSRU2GBqesne0r1BGJwOXc0S9aHoKXo3hJlrfSw&s=1hZG3O03_rgayjvRDim0MaToBhvrL-eDJmUJNyt9C8M&e=>] and we are writing to invite you to attend and submit abstracts to mini-symposia and contributed sessions organized by the APS Division of Nuclear Physics, DNP. The deadline for abstract submission is January 8, 2021.



The DNP is hosting 10 invited sessions, some with other units and 10 mini-symposia. Most of the sessions are of interest to the JLab community and we want to bring your attention specifically to these:



1) Selected Invited Sessions:

  *   Short Range Correlations (joint with GFB)
  *   Hadronic Spin Structure
  *   Intersections of nuclear and particle physics (joint with DPF)
  *   Electron-Ion Collider and Hadronic Physics (joint with GHP)

The program for these invited sessions is already established and each has three speakers.



2) Mini-symposia:

D17a. Mini-Symposium: Jet Physics at the EIC

D17d. Mini-Symposium: Spin Physics and Hard Scattering Processes

D17f. Mini-Symposium: Transverse-Momentum-Dependent Phenomena

D17g. Mini-Symposium: Photo-Production of Hadrons

D17i. Mini-Symposium: Opportunities for Future Hadron Structure Measurements with Large Acceptance At High Luminosity  (SOLID)



With each mini-symposium having one invited speaker followed by contributed talks. We invite you to submit abstracts for contributed talks in these mini-symposia.



3) Fully Contributed Sessions:

D04. Fundamental Symmetries

D02. Electroweak Interactions

D11. Hadronic Physics

D10. Nuclear Structure

D12. Nuclear Theory

We invite you to submit abstracts to these fully contributed sessions.
