Greetings and happy new year,
    
    	In case you have not received this, please note the attached
    announcement of a "5G Enabled Energy Innovation Workshop " march 10-12
    2020 in Chicago IL organized by the Office of Science @ DOE.
    
    The workshop will deliver a community-based report highlighting 5G and
    beyond basic research, development, applications, technology transition,
    infrastructure, and demonstration opportunities in support of the U.S.
    DOE mission. The workshop is organized in the following Areas: Advancing
    Science Missions, Cybersecurity, Critical infrastructure, Extreme
    Environments, Scientific User Facilities, Edge Computing, Distributed
    Instruments, New Science Exploration Paradigms, Software Architectures,
    Data Management.
    
    Interested participants are welcome to submit online a one- to two-page
    white paper providing technical material relevant to the workshop
    addressing a specific technical area.
    
    Please consult the attached PDF for more details and feel free to
    re-distribute broadly.
