FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Colleagues:

We are pleased to announce that the 16th International Workshop in Tau Lepton Physics (TAU2020) will be held at Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, USA, from September 27, 2020 to October 2, 2020. The workshop venue will be the Indiana Memorial Union Biddle Hotel and Conference Center.

The goal of the workshop is to bring theorists and experimentalists together to discuss recent progress in the field. Latest results on the study of tau leptons at e+e- and hadron colliders will be reported, as well as relevant results from the world-wide neutrino and muon programs. Properties of the tau lepton, as well as methods of using tau leptons as probes for new physics, will be discussed, along with status reports on future experimental projects.

Session topics will include:


*         Properties of the tau lepton

*         Inclusive and exclusive hadronic tau decays

*         Test of fundamental symmetries with tau lepton

*         Anomalous magnetic moment of the muon

*         Neutrino Physics and Dark Matter

*         Proton-proton and e+e- colliders

*         Early Career Paths

*         Future directions in tau lepton physics

Call for abstracts: abstract submission is now open. The submission deadline for oral abstracts is June 1, 2020, and that for poster abstracts is August 15, 2020.

Registration is now open: Early registration fee (before July 25, 2020) is US$300. Late registration fee (after July 26, 2020) is US$350.
