[Cuga] Workshop on Pion and Kaon Sructure Functions at the EIC - a message from Tanja Horn and Craig Roberts

We write to highlight a forthcoming e-meeting
Workshop on Pion and Kaon Structure Functions at the EIC

The workshop will canvass recent progress toward a coherent program of pion and kaon structure studies at the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC); a field in which contemporary experimental developments are matched by new theoretical insights and rapid computational advances.  This progress triad is completed by developments in high-level phenomenology.  Presentations and discussions during the workshop will play an integral role in developing contributions to the ongoing EIC Yellow Report Initiative.

The workshop will take place under the auspices of the
Center for Frontiers in Nuclear Science (CFNS https://www.stonybrook.edu/cfns/<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.stonybrook.edu_cfns_&d=DwMDaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=wlj-HLgGB5Tro-f5lyrlkQ&m=7_uklMexbySlVM8GMPpjG7f_XWOtgujKIC82tyP9jgk&s=fpASvCeqeRM1BrfWtM3SAzKqrh563v2g15Pei0edyLc&e=>).
A face-to-face meeting at the CFNS was originally planned; but owing to the COVID-19 challenge, the workshop will now proceed via ZOOM.

Sessions will be held
    08:00-13:00 (Eastern US Summer Time)
on each of the four days.  These hours are a compromise.  They are not perfect for anyone, but are manageable for participation by people in most of the World's time zones.
