Dear Users Group Colleagues,
The ECCE (EIC Collider Experiment) consortium was recently formed as part of the EIC-EOI process (https://www.ecce-eic.org/eoi<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.ecce-eic.org/eoi__;!!P4SdNyxKAPE!SCr7RjQVtgc91a5kek-2btviIW77k-LUXwy_bBGmQ_c_GcISVQmTQIrhGoDq$>). The consortium members are currently continuing to develop ECCE as a general detector concept that meets the design requirements and performance goals for an EIC detector as laid out by the EIC Yellow-Report process.
As part of this effort a first ECCE workshop will be held virtually on Thursday February 11th. The workshop will discuss the ECCE concept and ways in which current and new collaborators can get involved as we progress towards an anticipated call for proposals for EIC detectors. A full agenda will be forthcoming shortly and in the mean time you can feel free to contact us if you want to make a specific contribution to the workshop.
News and additional information can be found at: https://www.ecce-eic.org/<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.ecce-eic.org/__;!!P4SdNyxKAPE!SCr7RjQVtgc91a5kek-2btviIW77k-LUXwy_bBGmQ_c_GcISVQmTQHwAWQIQ$>
There is a lot of room to contribute to ECCE and we look forward to hearing from all interested parties!
Regards,
Tanja Horn (hornt at cua.edu<mailto:hornt at cua.edu>)
