Applications are now being accepted for

e-HUGS 2021
The 35th Annual Hampton University
Graduate Summer Program at Jefferson Lab
June 1–18, 2021

This year due to on-site work restrictions, the e-HUGS 2021 school will take place fully remotely. The deadline for applications (and reference letters) is April 11, 2021

The HUGS Program at Jefferson Lab is a summer school designed for experimental and theoretical nuclear and particle physics graduate students who have finished their coursework and have at least one year of research experience. Students who are well into a research project are also encouraged to apply.

The program is simultaneously intensive, friendly, and casual. All lecturers are internationally renowned and leaders in their fields. Even though this year’s school will exceptionally be remote, we will do all we can to give students as many opportunities as possible to interact among themselves, with the lecturers and also with Jefferson Lab staff and other graduate students. We are developing a diverse virtual social activity program, to also include remote tours of the JLab halls via live video, and a few optional collaborative recitation sessions.
