We would like to invite you to participate in “Streaming Readout X”, the tenth workshop on the development of streaming readout technologies for the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) and other Nuclear Physics experiments. The workshop is organized by the EIC Streaming Readout Consortium and Jefferson Lab and will be hosted by Christopher Newport University as a hybrid meeting from May 17–19, 2022. In addition to remote participation, we will share updates throughout March and April on the possibility of meeting in person at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA.

For the seamless data processing from detector readout to analysis we envision for the EIC, advances in streaming readout technologies are required. In the workshop, we will examine the status and plans for streaming readout electronics, computing, and software. We will follow up on the recent review of the detector collaboration proposals for the EIC and discuss the implications for the streaming readout requirements and plans, including the future priorities for the EIC Streaming Readout Consortium.

Registration for the “Streaming Readout X” workshop is free, and you are encouraged to receive updates on the hybrid format and the agenda: https://indico.jlab.org/event/519

Yours sincerely,

David Abbott (Jefferson Lab)
Marco Battaglieri (INFN Genova)
Edward Brash (Christopher Newport University)
Chris Cuevas (Jefferson Lab)
Markus Diefenthaler (Jefferson Lab)
David Lawrence (Jefferson Lab)
Holly Szumila-Vance (Jefferson Lab)
Carl Timmer (Jefferson Lab)
