[Cuga] Safety suggestion and awareness- a message from Bob Sperlazza

Below is a message from Facilities addressing a safety concern to our Users when walking to Tech Center.

It was brought to my attention at the last Worker's Safety Committee Meeting that Users/Visitors are accessing the retail stores across from the lab via Rattley road to Tech Center Parkway.  There are no sidewalks going this way to the retail area.  Without the safety of sidewalks and not having adequate grassy areas to keep people from harms way when going this way, I highly recommend that they use the path provided on this email.  It's the safest way to access the stores across the street without coming into direct contact with oncoming and going traffic at the Rattley / Tech Center Parkway intersection.

A reminder that Rutherford road is an active road and to use the asphalt walking path when traveling from CEBAF Center to the ARC / SSC / or the retail stores.
