Dear Colleagues,

At the time of the annual JLUO meeting last year, the JLUO Board Communication Working Group migrated the Jefferson Lab Users Advocacy mailing list to Google Groups.  It was our hope that this would make the list more stable over the longer term, make management of this mailing list easier (for both subscription and unsubcription), and allow for enhanced communication with users on topics related to Nuclear Physics advocacy.  In light of recent world events, I am writing to you to ask once again that you consider subscribing to this mailing list.

In addition, Nuclear Physics Day on the Hill will be in person this year, once again, and so having as many of you subscribed as possible in advance of that effort will maximize our reach!

As a reminder, last year we migrated all of the email addresses of those of you that were subscribed to the old mailing list (hosted by SURA/Louisiana State) over to the new Google Group.  You should have received a few messages to this new mailing list already.  If, for some reason, you wish to unsubscribe from this new mailing list, there is information contained within each posting to the list on how to do that.

As I hope you are all aware, Nuclear Physics advocacy is something that Jefferson Laboratory cannot, by law, undertake.  Thus, subscription to the Jefferson Lab Users Advocacy mailing list *must* be done from a non-JLab email account.  This is the case for all of the currently subscribed members.

I am requesting that each of you consider doing the following:

  1.  If you are not already subscribed to this Google Group/mailing list, please consider doing so, and again I emphasize that you must use a non-JLab email account.  Subscribing is easy! This mailing list is MODERATED, at the 100% level.  All posts and replies to posts are allowed only by group members with approval from the group moderators.  The number of posts to this mailing list is expected to be a relatively small number.
