[Cuga] Mini-Symposium “Opportunities with JLab Upgrades in Energy, Luminosity and Positron Beam”- A message from Harut Avagyan

Dear colleagues,

After successful operation at 6 & 12 GeV, the Jefferson Lab upgraded to 20+ GeV will offer new opportunities that will not be accessible otherwise.
The Mini-Symposium “Opportunities with JLab Upgrades in Energy,  Luminosity and Positron Beam”, will be held during APS April meeting 2023,  Minneapolis, Minnesota, and will be splitting into two parts: in person and virtual. The in-person part of presentations will be in April 15-18, 2023; and the virtual talks will be in April 24-26, 2023.

An extensive program at the intensity frontier will expand the kinematical landscape of the nucleon 3D structure, cover both light and heavy quark hadron spectroscopy and probe the gluonic properties of the proton. The extended Primakoff program will test fundamental symmetries and search for sub-GeV scalars and pseudoscalars beyond the standard model.


We would welcome your participation by sharing your ideas and also appreciate your help in distributing this announcement to those of your colleagues who may be interested in attending the mini symposium. The abstracts can be submitted via the link provided below and the deadline will be this Monday, January 9 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
