Science at the Luminosity Frontier: Jefferson Lab at 22 GeV workshop – agenda available
We are happy to announce that you can now find the agenda for the “Science at the Luminosity Frontier: Jefferson Lab at 22 GeV” workshop on our webpage at the link below.
https://www.jlab.org/conference/luminosity22gev
* A reminder to those interested, there is still time to register via the web page! Registration is free, but necessary in advance for attendance.
* Please be aware that JLab has reinstituted a temporary mask mandate for all persons onsite regardless of vaccination status. More details can be found in the announcement here<https://www.jlab.org/memo/community-level-increases-medium-high?check_logged_in=1>.
The workshop will focus on the continuing development of the scientific case for a 22 GeV upgrade to CEBAF made possible by recent novel advances in accelerator technology. CEBAF’s envisioned capabilities, at the highest luminosities, will enable exciting opportunities that give scientists the full suite of tools necessary to comprehensively understand how QCD forges hadronic matter in the valence regime. Through this workshop, JLab and its user community will continue to build the science case with descriptions and concrete projections for experiments that would become possible with an upgrade.
The workshop will take place at the laboratory from Monday, January 23, to Wednesday, January 25, 2023. All sessions will take place at the CEBAF Center auditorium. In-person attendance is strongly encouraged, but the meeting will likely have a hybrid connection. Morning registration and an evening reception will be held on Monday, January 23.
We look forward to seeing you here at Jefferson Lab -
