The APS Topical Group on Hadronic Physics (GHP) sponsors a dissertation award to recognize outstanding early-career scientists who have performed original research in the area of hadronic physics. The award recipient will receive $1,500, a certificate, and will be invited to give a talk at the GHP Biennial Meeting, which precedes the APS April meeting.
The nomination deadline for this dissertation award is quickly approaching (Tuesday, August 1, 2023). We would like to strongly encourage you to nominate your early career colleagues. To be eligible, the nominee's Ph.D. should have been awarded within two years of the nomination deadline. Further details about the award and the nomination process can be found on the APS web site:
https://www.aps.org/programs/honors/prizes/hadronic.cfm
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to recognize the excellent work of our early-career colleagues in the area of hadronic physics.
Regards,
Julia Velkovska and Dave Gaskell
