June 26, 2023
SUBJECT: JLab Weather Alert: Thunderstorms, High Winds, Hail, and Possible Street Flooding Today

Scattered thunderstorms across Hampton Roads, central Virginia and northeast North Carolina are expected this afternoon and evening, to include heavy rain, hail, possible flooding and high winds.

Wind gusts may reach 60-70 mph and hail is expected to be the size of quarters. Please immediately tie down or secure loose equipment and materials in your outdoor JLab work areas.
