Attention JLab Users:
We are excited to once again host in-person activities for students this summer! Since it has been some time since many of you have sent students, here are some tips for a smooth arrival to the lab.
All users must have an approved registration to be on site. This needs to be completed at least 7 days prior to your arrival. Ensure they know who their JLab host is as they will need to include it on the registration form.
Registration, badging and training information can be found here: https://www.jlab.org/facilities/steps-registration
Things to do before you come to the lab:
* Upload documents
* Receive approval email for your visit (or confirm you already have an active approved visit)
* Complete training
Reminder of things to schedule prior to your visit:
* Badging appointment: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/JeffersonLabBadgingOffice@jeffersonlab.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/
* High School and Undergrads must schedule Student Orientation Training (SAF099). Send email to: SAF099 at jlab.org. This is offered virtually and in-person but please email to schedule as soon as you have your arrival date set as this will hold up the badging process and has limited seats.
* Those who require Radiation Training please visit here and schedule appointments as needed: https://www.jlab.org/esh/radcon/training/RWI
* Foreign Nationals must check in at the Support Services Center, Building 28, to show ID/Immigration documents for validation. Prior to your visit, appointments can be scheduled at: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/JRISCheckin@jeffersonlab.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/.
Looking forward to seeing you all this summer!
