FRONTIERS AND CAREERS IN NUCLEAR AND HADRONIC PHYSICS

There are still spots left open for the Frontiers & Careers workshop in Cyprus in October 2023! We have extended the registration deadline to September 15. Since F&C is a preconference workshop accompanying the EINN conference, attendees are encouraged to apply to present a poster at EINN the following week.

DESCRIPTION

The 2023 Frontiers and Careers workshop provides a venue for Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers in the field of nuclear and hadronic physics to discuss research, explore career prospects, and make professional connections, all in a friendly environment. Participants will be provided the opportunity to present their work, develop soft skills, network with peers, and interact with a panel of experienced faculty members and physicists, all with the express purpose of preparing themselves for their future careers.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the F&C workshop is open until September 15th, 2023. We are glad to announce that we are able to waive the registration fee for the workshop. EINN 2023

Frontiers & Careers 2023 is a preconference workshop accompanying the European Research Conference on Electromagnetic Interactions with Nucleons and Nuclei (EINN 2023), which will be held October 31st to November 4th, 2023. PRELIMINARY AGENDA

The detailed workshop schedule will be available on the website soon. The preliminary agenda consists of student and postdoc presentations, talks on career opportunities in both academia and industry, a career panel discussion, and talks on career skills such as scientific writing.
