Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that registration for the Joint Photonuclear Reactions & Frontiers and Careers workshop is now open: https://indico.jlab.org/event/869/.

This in-person conference is scheduled to take place from Aug. 7th to Aug 11th, 2024, at the MIT Laboratory for Nuclear Science. In the absence of a nuclear Gordon conference this year, this workshop aims to be a platform for researchers and scholars to exchange ideas, present their latest research, and engage in discussions on emerging trends and challenges. Special emphasis is being placed on allowing sufficient time for discussions and networking in a similar spirit that characterized the Gordon conference experience.

We encourage you to seize this opportunity to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in our field and to network with peers from around the world. Abstract submissions for oral presentations are open.

For details on registration and abstract submission guidelines, please visit the Indico page<https://indico.jlab.org/event/869/overview>.

A limited number of subsidized suites at Boston University are available for the conference. Each suite has 4 private bedrooms and two shared bathrooms. Please visit https://mit-lns-housing.eventbrite.com<https://mit-lns-housing.eventbrite.com/> for more information about the accommodations.

We look forward to receiving your abstracts and welcoming you to the Joint Photonuclear Reactions & Frontiers and Careers for an enriching and stimulating conference experience.

Best regards,

Edmundo Barriga (FSU)

Aleksandr Pustyntsev (Mainz)

Hang Qi (MIT)

Bill Briscoe (GWU)

Or Hen (MIT)

Douglas Higinbotham (JLab)
