[Cuga] Update on 2025 GHP Dissertation Award - A message from Will Brooks

Dear colleagues,

The APS Topical Group on Hadronic Physics (GHP) sponsors a dissertation award  to recognize outstanding early-career scientists who have performed original research in the area of hadronic physics.  The award recipient will receive $1,500, a certificate,  and will be invited to give a talk at the GHP Biennial Meeting, which will be held March 14-16, immediately preceding the APS Global Physics Summit (the combined March and April meeting in 2025).

The nomination deadline for this dissertation award is Thursday, October 31, 2024, less than two weeks away.  We would like to strongly encourage you to nominate your early career colleagues. To be eligible, the nominee's Ph.D. should have been awarded within two years of the nomination deadline. Further details about the award and the nomination process can be found on the APS web site:
