Dear all,
We would like to bring to your attention the summer school on Multi-Particle Reactions from the Standard Model: spectroscopy, precision tests and beyond, to be hosted jointly by UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab on July 14-25, 2025.
This school will explore the intersections of different subfields in nuclear and particle physics where multi-particle dynamics play a key role. These include hadron spectroscopy, low-energy nuclear physics, and precision tests of the standard model. The school is aimed at graduate students and postdocs in nuclear/hadronic/particle physics that are actively in research. The key topics that will be covered include:
* Lattice QCD,
* scattering theory,
* Effective field theories (SMEFT, ChiPT, NN EFT...),
* Ab-initio methods for light and medium nuclei,
* Fundamental symmetries.
To apply to the school, please fill out this form: link<https://forms.gle/4PHUs9uvDB9Wxv8C7>. Application will be open until March 14. Acceptance will be sent out by March 21.
For more details, including a full list of confirmed speakers, please visit our website: https://conferences.lbl.gov/e/multi_school
The school will be followed by a workshop of the same topic. This workshop will take place on July 28-Aug 1 at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. If you want to attend that workshop, go to its indico page for more information. Note, the registration page for the workshop will be live in the upcoming weeks: https://conferences.lbl.gov/e/multi_work
