[Cuga] *Deadline approaching* JSA Thesis & Postdoc Prize- A message from Ioana Niculescu

The Jefferson Lab Users Organization Board of Directors is pleased to invite nominations for the 2024 Jefferson Science Associates Thesis Prize. The prize recognizes doctoral theses and accomplishments of exceptional quality related to research carried out at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. The recipient will receive a commemorative plaque, a check of $2,500, an invitation and travel reimbursement up to $650 to present a talk at the 2025 Annual Users Group meeting at Jefferson Lab this June. Nominations of dissertations in experimental, theoretical, accelerator physics, and related areas are welcome. Applications received by March 8, 2025 will be given full consideration. Jefferson Lab employees are not eligible to apply.

The Jefferson Lab Users Organization Board of Directors is pleased to invite applications for the 2025 Jefferson Lab Postdoctoral Research Prize. Established in 2008, with generous support from Jefferson Science Associates, the program funds research activities of outstanding early-career scientists in areas related to the science mission of Jefferson Lab. It is envisioned that the 2025 prize will provide up to $10,000 in support of a research project proposed by the recipient, and travel reimbursement up to $650 to present a talk at the 2025 Annual Users Group meeting at Jefferson Lab this June. To be eligible for the prize, an applicant must be within five years of graduation and in a post-doctoral or equivalent position at a university or national laboratory other than Jefferson Lab. Previous recipients are not eligible to apply. Applications received by March 8, 2025 will be given full consideration.
