[Cuga] SRC White Paper Community Forum - March 13- A message from Nadia Fomin

Dear SRC collaborators and enthusiasts,

Next week, we will hold a forum for community input on the SRC white paper we’ve been working on.  It is currently a preliminary draft, but we think the major elements are there, and we wanted to seek input before we go into the polishing phase.  Additionally, the future needs and priorities are something we hope to discuss with everyone.

The forum will be held on Thursday, March 13, at Jefferson Lab, with a zoom link available (we expect many remote participants).  We will have several short presentations on each section of the paper, with long time slots for discussion.  We will solicit additional input in written form if needed.

Please register by COB, Monday, March 10th.  Do so even if you are not sure about attending, as we will use the registrant list to communicate in the future.

We plan to hold a writing retreat in April, following the APS Global summit, to produce a final document that we hope the community will sign onto, as well as an executive summary to include for JLab PAC.
