Based on experience from previous years, the lab has received 250 doses. If you would like to be vaccinated, schedule an appointment with Occupational Medicine at x7539. Vaccination typically takes less than 15 minutes. Nearly 1,500 students and their teachers visit JLab each school year to participate in science and math activities conducted by scientists, engineers, technicians and administrators. Volunteers spend about 75 minutes in a BEAMS classroom (VARC 72A & 72B), either leading an activity or assisting students as they carry out an activity. Volunteers are also needed to provide 15-minute role model visits in their office or other appropriate work area for the students. Robert Piccioni, author of "Everyone's Guide to Atoms, Einstein and the Universe," will discuss how Einstein overcame rejection to become the most famous scientist in history.
