This service is open to all employees as well as family members or friends, since personal health insurances will be billed. The procedure takes 15 minutes. To make an appointment, call 1-800-SENTARA (736-8272) or see the Screenings and Events section on the frontpage of the Sentara website.</font></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial"><br></font></div><div><b><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial">U.S. Department of State Issues Europe Travel Alert</font></b></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial">On Oct. 3, the State Department alerted U.S. citizens to the potential for terrorist attacks in Europe. Current information suggests that al-Qa’ida and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks. European governments have taken action to guard against a terrorist attack and some have spoken publicly about the heightened threat conditions. This Travel Alert expires on Jan. 31, 2011. The JLab Travel Services office registers all business travelers with the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy when DOE foreign travel approval is requested. If you are traveling to Europe on personal leave, you should register through the State Department's travel registration website. Travelers may obtain up-to-date information on security conditions at the Travel website or by calling 1-888-407-4747 toll-free in the U.S. and Canada, or on a regular toll line at 1-202-501-4444 from elsewhere in the world.
