applications for a tenure-track position in experimental nuclear
physics at the
assistant or associate professor level. Successful candidates
are expected to
develop and maintain a vigorous, externally funded research
program. At
present, current research areas include Compton scattering,
meson
photoproduction, few-nucleon photodisintegration, structure of
the nucleon and
fundamental symmetries, utilizing national and international
facilities such as
Jefferson Lab, HIGS, NIST, the Mainz Microtron and MAX-lab. The
current search
is not limited to the above areas and applicants with an active
research
program in any experimental nuclear physics area are urged to
apply.
Opportunities exist for collaborations with other departments in
the University
as well as with national and international laboratories. </span></p>
