<pre>The UGBoD expects to award the "2011 JSA Thesis Prize" for the best
Jefferson Lab related thesis at the summer Users Group meeting,
scheduled June 04- 06, 2012 . Please consider nominating people who
have defended during 2011. Please send Lorelei Carlson
(<a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://mailman.jlab.org/mailman/listinfo/cuga">lcarlson at jlab.org</a>) a brief nomination, giving the name and
institution of the person being nominated and the names of three people
who will send letters of recommendation, along with a copy of the
thesis, preferably electronically. All materials must be received by
Tuesday January 31, 2012. The prize is sponsored by JSA and includes a
$2200 award with an invitation to give a presentation on the candidate's
thesis subject at the 2012 summer meeting.
We would also like to remind everyone of the Postdoc Prize competition which
has a deadline of January 3, 2012.
