Dear Colleagues,

We would like to call your attention to the 8th Patras Workshop on
Axions, WIMPs, and WISPs
to be held July 18-22 in Chicago and Fermilab in the USA!

This workshop will continue this very rich series and will highlight
theoretical and experimental work
in this exciting field of research. Participation by young scientists
is encouraged as the foundations
of this series started as a Training Workshop at CERN. We believe our
workshop is unique in the
manner in which it brings the different research topics together along
with breadth and an outlook
on the future technology and techniques required to carry this research
into the future.

The physics case for WIMPs, Axions, WISPs
Searches for Hidden Sector Photons
Signals from astrophysical sources
Direct and Indirect searches for WIMP Dark Matter
Indirect and direct searches for Axions and WISPs
New theoretical developments
Review of collider experiments
Scalars and Dark Energy - theory and experiment

Details regarding registration fees are being finalized soon and are
expected to be similar to
previous workshops in this series. A next announcement should have
those details. Details
of the entire workshop series may be found at <a

The workshop hotel will by the Hyatt Regency Chicago with one day of
meetings at the Fermi
National Accelerator Laboratory. The Hyatt Regency is located in a
