The GHP Executive Committee is pleased to announce the first call
for
nominations for its newly endowed American Physical Society
Dissertation
Award in Hadronic Physics. Reaching the endowment milestone was
made possible
in part by significant contributions from Brookhaven Science
Associates,
Jefferson Science Associates, LLC (the management contractor for
Jefferson
Laboratory), and Universities Research Association (the management
contractor
for Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory).

The first GHP Dissertation Award, $1000 and a travel allowance of
up to $1500 to
attend the biennial GHP meeting, will be presented at the April
2013 GHP
Meeting in Denver, Colorado. Nominations should be sent to Ramona
