the Oud Sint-Jan Art and Conference Centre.
The Oud Sint-Jan Art and Conference Centre is housed in a
historic building: a 19th century hospital. One of the first
hospitals of Europe was already located on this site in the
Middle Ages. The centre is located in the very heart of
Bruges and bordered by the typical canals. The beautiful
inner courtyard looks onto the tower of the Church of Our
Lady.
The Oud Sint-Jan Art and Conference Centre has its own pay
car park and is located within 7 minutes’ walking distance
from the train station.
The City of Bruges is located in the northwest part
of Belgium, at a 1 hour drive from Brussels and 20 minutes
from the Belgian coast. The historic city center is a
prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO. The city center
features a peculiar style with a medieval flavor. Along with
its large numbers of water channels, Bruges is sometimes
referred to as The Venice of the North. The town also houses
many museums and can be considered as a major cultural
crossroads in the heart of Europe.
