<div class="">On Thursday, September 24th, and Friday,
September 25th, the first EIC software meeting will be held
at Jefferson Lab. The meeting is organized by scientists
from BNL and Jefferson Lab. <span class=""
style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">The goal of
the </span>EIC software meetings<span class=""
style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"> is to
review the status of the software for the EIC detector and
physics simulations and to identify interfaces between the
BNL and JLab software. </span>In the first meeting, we
will focus on Monte Carlo generators for the EIC physics
program. We will also discuss selected software frameworks.
