Dear Colleague,<br>
<div class="moz-forward-container"> we would like to invite you to
attend the workshop Light Dark Matter search at Accelerators
(LDMA2017) to be held in Elba Island (Italy) on May 24-28 2017.<br>
Visit the web site of the conference for more details: <a

Following the 2015 workshop (<a moz-do-not-send="true"
class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="http://ldma2015.ge.infn.it/LDMA2015/Welcome.html">http://ldma2015.ge.infn.it/LDMA2015/Welcome.html</a>),
LDMA2017 will gather people interested in this new and fast
growing field to share expertise spanning from theory to the
experimental techniques and provide guidance to the development of
an experimental program aiming to prove or disprove the possible
scenarios of light dark matter. <br>
In this spirit, a significant fraction of time will be devoted to
discuss novel ideas, plans and proposals.<br>
The topics we would like to cover are the following:<br>
- theoretical motivation and justification of light dark matter
scenario(s);<br>
- constraints from cosmology and astrophysics;<br>
- experimental searches at accelerators:<br>
- visible decays,<br>
- invisible decays,<br>
- searches at colliders;<br>
- direct detection experiments (WIMPs);<br>
- existing and future facilities.<br>
These topics will be covered in the 7 half-day sessions convened
by:<br>
<i> Theoretical overview, cosmology and astrophysics: , G.
Krnjaic (Fermilab), C. Bohem</i><i> (Durham)<br>
</i><i> Visible searches: M.Holtrop (UNH), A.Denig (Mainz)</i><i><br>
</i><i> Invisible searches: R. Van de Water (LANL)</i><i><br>
</i><i> Searches at colliders: E. Izaguirre (Stonybrook), W.
Bonivento</i><i> (INFN-CA)<br>
</i><i> Direct detection: P. Belli (INFN-RM2), D. Snowden-Ifft
(Oxy), S.Davini</i><i> (INFN-LNGS) <br>
</i><i> Facilities Overview: S. Stepanyan (JLab), P.Valente</i><i>
(INFN-RM)</i><br>
LDMA2017 workshop will be the occasion to strengthen existing
collaborations between groups (theorists and experimentalists)
active in the field and review the present status and plans for
searches at facilities in Europe (CERN, LNF, Mainz, ...) and
oversea (JLab, Cornell, SLAC, Novosibirsk) labs. <br>
All participants will be lodged at Hotel Hermitage, where the
workshop sessions will take place, or the nearby Hotel La Biodola.
<br>
Best regards<br>
