                  are pleased to inform about the workshop "THE WEAK
                  SCALE AT A CROSSROADS: LESSONS FROM THE LHC AND
                  BEYOND"<span style="color:black">
                  </span>in Munich. It will take place from 27 May - 21
                  June 2019 at the Munich Institute for Astro- and
                  Particle Physics (MIAPP).<br>
                  <br>
                  This workshop on physics beyond the Standard Model
                  will focus on LHC physics and<span style="color:black">
                  </span>dark matter. We plan to bring together experts
                  in model building and<span style="color:black">
                  </span>phenomenology and<span style="color:black"> </span>confront
                  the theories with current experimental data from the<span
                    style="color:black">
                  </span>LHC and other experiments, such as direct and
                  indirect dark matter detection<span
                    style="color:black">
                  </span>experiments, and discuss future<span
                    style="color:black"> </span>searches. <br>

                  For accepted participants a per diem of 80 Euro is
                  expected to be available from MIAPP and there<span
                    style="color:black">
                  </span>will be help arranging housing. For visitors
                  who bring family with one or more
                  <span style="color:black">minor </span>children, MIAPP
                  can provide extra support of 40 Euro per day.<br>
                  <br>
                  Office space will be provided for all participants. We
                  can support 45 participants per week and we will do
                  our best to accommodate<span style="color:black">
                  </span>your application, but we cannot guarantee
                  acceptance.<span style="color:black">
                  </span>MIAPP<span style="color:black"> </span>requires
                  participants to stay at least for two weeks. <br>
                  <br>
                  The style of the workshop will be similar to those in
                  Santa Barbara<span style="color:black">
                  </span>and Aspen with at most one meeting per day.<br>
                  <br>
                  Our workshop is preceded by another MIAPP program
                  "BEYOND THE STANDARD MODEL WITH PRECISION FLAVOUR
                  EXPERIMENTS" 29 April - 24 May 2019, with a focus on
                  the interplay of<span style="color:black">
                  </span>indirect and<span style="color:black"> </span>direct
                  searches for physics beyond the Standard Model in low-
                  and high-energy<span style="color:black">
                  </span>physics experiments. It is possible to
                  participate in both workshops,<span
                    style="color:black">
                  </span>please indicate this on the registration form
                  if you wish to do so.<br>
