<div class="">William & Mary is hosting a Conference for
Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) in January <a

moz-do-not-send="true">https://cuwip2019.wm.edu/</a>, which
is part of a larger program of APS-supported conferences
nationwide. The three-day conference is for undergraduate
physics and astrophysics majors, and our site will host
students from Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North
Carolina and Washington DC. </div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Applications are now open through a link on our
webpage above, and we’re asking faculty in our region to
advertise this in their departments and undergraduate courses.
It would also be helpful if you mention that, apart from the
$45 registration fee and possible travel expenses, everything
else - lodging, food, activities - will be covered, and even
the remaining expenses can be waived/reimbursed, when
necessary. Attached is a poster advertising the conference
and a high-resolution version (11MB) can be found at <a

class="" moz-do-not-send="true">physics.wm.edu/~inovikova/documents/WM_CUWiP_poster.pdf</a>.
Part of the conference will take place at JLab and include a
tour of the accelerator and experimental halls, so it’s also a
chance for your students to see where your research takes
place!</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Thanks in advance for your assistance, and we look
forward to welcoming your students to William & Mary in
January.</div>
<p class="">On behalf of the conference organizers,</p>
