<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">The American Physical Society, Southeastern Section (SESAPS) Jesse W. Beams Research Award Committee is now seeking nominations for the 2019 award.  The award was established by SESAPS to recognize especially significant
 or meritorious research in physics, the major portion of which was carried out while the recipient was resident in the SESAPS region.</p>

<div style="font-family:Helvetica,Arial; font-size:13px">As department chair or lab division director, we encourage you to identify and nominate your most deserving colleagues and to spread this message to your fellow faculty and research scientists to remind
 them to do the same.  This is a great opportunity for your colleagues to be recognized by the entire SESAPS community for their impactful research contributions.  The 2019 award will be presented during the 86th Annual SESAPS Meeting to be held in Wrightsville
 Beach, NC from November 7-9, 2019.</div>
