<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Dear Jefferson Lab collaborators, <br>
<br>
Jefferson Science Associates (JSA) continues to support the Junior Scientist Travel Support Program, one of the programs in the JSA Initiatives Fund Program. This program helps to support the travel for young researchers to present the results of their Jefferson
Lab research at national and international conferences and workshops.<br>
<br>
To be considered for a travel grant, student's advisors should complete the request form available at <a href="http://www.jsallc.org/IF/IndexJSTF.html" target="_BLANK">http://www.jsallc.org/IF/IndexJSTF.html</a>. Requests for travel support funds (up to $400-500
or $800-1000 for local or international venues respectively, up to a max of ~$1000 per research group) should then be sent to the Travel Support Program chair (Justin Stevens <a href="mailto:jrstevens01@wm.edu">jrstevens01@wm.edu</a>). In addition to information
about where the young scientists will be presenting their results, advisors should provide a clear statement of the scientific potential of the student, and include a commitment to pay for balance of the travel costs. Advisors should note that restrictions
apply to student eligibility. JSA reserves the right to rescind a travel grant should a student become ineligible after an award is made.<br>
<br>
The Travel Support Program committee (J. Stevens - Chair, A. Biselli, D. Dutta, and D. Higinbotham) will examine applications and reply to requests in a timely manner. Applications can be submitted anytime. For questions or further information send a message
to: <a href="mailto:jrstevens01@wm.edu">jrstevens01@wm.edu</a>. <br>
<br>
This project is supported by the JSA Initiatives Fund Program (<a href="http://www.jsallc.org/IF/IFProjects.html" target="_BLANK">http://www.jsallc.org/IF/IFProjects.html</a>), a commitment from the JSA owners, SURA and PAE Applied Technologies. Initiatives
Funds support programs, initiatives, and activities that further the scientific outreach, promote the science, education and technology of the Jefferson Lab and benefit the Lab's extended user community in ways that complement the Lab's basic and applied research
missions. <br>

Sincerely, <br>
Justin Stevens (chair) <br>
