This is the announcement of the 2nd CFNS Summer School on the Physics of the Electron Ion Collider (EIC). The school will be held at the Center for Frontiers in Nuclear Science at Stony Brook University on<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><span style="background:white">July

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">In view of the recent developments on the US Electron Ion Collider, these are exciting times for the young scientists interested in working at the EIC. The school will feature lectures and tutorials
on theoretical and experimental topics related to the EIC. The school is ideally suited for advanced graduate students and postdocs in nuclear and particle physics.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
