The purpose of the workshop is to look beyond the current EIC project and evaluate what is needed to increase the maximum luminosity of the accelerator by a factor of 10 from the current design, what physics we may be able to access with such an upgrade, and

 finally what detector improvements would be needed to take full advantage of such an increase in luminosity. The timetable can be found at:
