Mark has been serving as the acting Hall Leader for nearly a year now. His
appointment follows a wide and international search where interest for the position included members from within the Halls A and C collaborations and also beyond the Jefferson Lab user community.
Mark has a strong background in the operation of Jefferson Lab experiments, equipment, and analysis, having taken leadership roles in many successful efforts. Perhaps most notably, Mark has been a major force behind the
recoil polarization based measurements of the proton electric to magnetic form factor ratio that have mapped a surprising difference as compared to the Rosenbluth technique for measuring the same quantity. These results are the most cited Jefferson Lab publications,
and led to Mark's leadership as Project Manager for the successful construction of the Super Bigbite Spectrometer equipment and comprehensive nucleon form factor program currently running in Hall A.
