We are pleased to announce that the joint international school SNP-CNS<br>

SS 2024 will be held at Tokyo, Japan, from August 3rd to 8th , 2024.<br>

This school is co-hosted by School of Science, the University of<br>

Tokyo, CNS-Tokyo, QNSI-Tokyo, J-PARC, ELPH-Tohoku, RCNP-Osaka,<br>

KEK-IINAS, RCSHE-Kyushu, CABAS-Kyushu and supported by ASRC JAEA,<br>

ANPhA, RIKEN Nishina Center, GP-PU of Tohoku Univ.<br>

This international school is the 13th SNP School of the series which<br>

has been held every year since 2012 and the 23rd CNS SS. This is the<br>

first attempt to organize a joint event.<br>

<br>

The school will be held in-person at the University of Tokyo Hongo<br>

campus, and RIKEN Wako campus. The school provides lectures that cover<br>

subjects from basics to the frontiers of strangeness nuclear physics,<br>

exotic nuclei as well as other related fields such as astrophysics,<br>

etc.<br>

<br>

Lecturers are invited both from theoretical or experimental physics,<br>

and their materials are prepared to be useful to young physicists and<br>

also to researchers who would have wider interests.<br>

<br>

Lectures under negotiation will be announced in the second announcement.<br>

In addition to the lectures, RIKEN RI Beam Facility tours will be organized.<br>

<br>

An important event is the “young researchers’ session” for young<br>

participants' presentations, good ones will be awarded. In previous<br>

schools, we have seen that all participants enjoyed the session.<br>

<br>

Details of the SNP-CNS SS 2024 will be announced later by e-mails,<br>

while the latest information will be updated on the web page without notice.<br>
